1. Scope
This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on the website www.carmagnole.eu and on the client portal operated by Carmagnole OÜ, registry code 17131338, Ahtri tn 12, Kesklinna linnaosa, 15551 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file placed on the terminal of a user when a website is consulted. It allows the site to store information relating to the browsing session, such as a session identifier or a preference. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage in the browser.

Carmagnole OÜ uses only strictly necessary cookies, that is to say cookies whose sole purpose is to enable or facilitate the electronic communication or which are strictly necessary for the supply of a service expressly requested by the user.

4. What the website does not use
The website uses no audience measurement or analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting cookies, no social network sharing buttons which deposit trackers, and no third party tracker by default. No data collected through cookies is transmitted to a third party for its own purposes, and no cookie is used to build a browsing profile.
If Carmagnole OÜ were to introduce a measurement or other non essential cookie in the future, it would be deposited only after the prior, free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent of the user, obtained through a banner allowing acceptance and refusal on equal terms, and this policy would be updated beforehand.
5. Consent
Under Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC as transposed in Estonia and under the Estonian Electronic Communications Act, the consent of the user is not required for cookies which are strictly necessary for the supply of a service expressly requested by the user. Since the website uses only such cookies, no consent is requested for their deposit. Users are nevertheless informed of their existence by this policy.
6. Controlling cookies in the browser

Data read or written by strictly necessary cookies is processed on the legal bases and under the conditions set out in the Privacy Policy, to which reference is made for retention periods, recipients and the rights of data subjects.
