This programme examines commitments from the point at which client solvency is assessed to the point at which a security interest is enforced.
Participants study personal and real guarantees, their valuation and the formalities without which they fail, and the liability that attaches to careless documentation. The management of the commitments portfolio, the digitalisation of legal tooling and the application of financial crime obligations to commitments are then addressed.
The programme concludes with the indicators that reveal deterioration early. Participants leave able to construct commitments that hold when they are needed.
