Civil, disciplinary and criminal liability of the banker

Duration3 days (21 hours)
LevelAdvanced
FormatIn person, Remote, Blended

The programme examines the three registers of liability that a banker faces and shows how a single incident can trigger all of them.

Participants study civil liability arising from information, vigilance and security duties, the criminal offences most often charged in banking, and the disciplinary consequences of supervisory findings. Cases are used to identify the decisions and omissions that create exposure.

The final sequence maps operational risk onto liability and builds a prevention plan covering documentation, escalation and training. Participants leave with a sober understanding of where personal responsibility begins.

Who it is for

Managers, legal staff and control functions exposed to personal and institutional liability.
